The Model 1474 Stereotaxic Drill is a carrier mounted drill for placing holes in the skull at precise stereotaxic coordinates for electrodes, cannula or microinjections. Holes can be drilled in angular as well as vertical planes. This is extremely useful for chronic implants where different size guide holes can be made through a skull-mounted platform.
